Mental Health Awareness Event – 14 April
The Harlington, Fleet, GU51 4BY
12.00-18.00 – Free to attend
The Rotary Club of Hart and Hart Voluntary Action are co-hosting a public event to raise awareness about the local support that is available to support younger adults’ mental health, covering health and wellbeing, social and leisure activities, education and employment. There will be 20+ organisations you can talk to and a range of talks and workshops to join.
Our headline speaker is Robin Ince – award winning Comedian, broadcaster, presenter and author and, until recently the co-host of the ‘Infinite Monkey Cage’ on BBC Radio 4 – will provide a keynote and welcome speech for all at 13.00. This will take place from the stage in the Auditorium and will last for approximately 45 minutes including questions. Following which, he will then sign copies of his recent book ‘Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal’ a powerful, personal experience of anxiety, ADHD and neurodivergence.
Full details and a link to the event app can be viewed at this link https://hartvolaction.org.uk/mental-health-awareness-day
We would like to thank Fleet Town Council and Fleet BID for their support of this event.
