Councillor Vacancy

Due to the resignation of Councillor Stuart there is now a vacancy on Ewshot Parish Council.

A by-election to fill the vacancy will be held if ten registered Electors from the Parish of Ewshot give notice in writing requesting such an Election to the Proper Officer within 14 working days of 11 May.

If no such notice is given the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

 To be a Councillor you must be:

• A British, Commonwealth or EU citizen;
• Aged 18 years or over;
• On the Electoral Register for the Parish or have lived, worked or owned property in the parish (or within 3 miles) for at least a year;

And must not be disqualified from holding office.
